Since returning to Singapore and switching jobs, I have had much lesser face-to-face with young kids. Specifically interactions with a group of kids in a classroom setting. The encounters I have are mostly casual, intimate, and not structured by curricula or lesson plans. While there is less pressure, I still notice the external hurriedness of modern life, each pocket of time together sandwiched between another thing to do, another place to be.
And yet, they still seem to be able to insist on their pace, even if they have to submit to the whims of adults, and when they need to hurry, they hurry slowly. I hope you do the same 💞
Thank you for tuning in this short short month!
